Oil Spill LIVE feed: BP awaits 'Top Kill' results Video

The oil company BP says it should become clear within hours whether its efforts to seal the leak in the Gulf of Mexico have been successful. Engineers are carring out so-called 'top kill' operation which is set to block a breached oil well with mud, which will eventually be topped with cement. The chances of the procedure working, are estimated at 60 to 70 per cent.

I used to hate bp but now it's not all that bad. Hey, if they capped that well in about two months that's fantastic. Even the CEO is A OK. I've changed my mind about them. I don't see anymore oil spilling into the gulf, although I still think all of this could have been prevented if that stupid bp manager didn't decide to replace the drilling mud with seawater which caused the explosion in the first place.
